In this episode, Brett, Brian, and Jason look at what Luther’s small and large catechisms say about the Fifth Commandment. They discuss how sanctification works under the Fifth Commandment (and Second Table of the Law in general), as well as how the Fifth Commandment impacts loving our neighbor in our vocations.
I think “so on and so forth” belongs to Pr. Phil Haugen. When I heard Pr. Jason Gudim also use it, and now also Pr. Brett Boe, I wonder if perhaps I do not really belong to the AFLC since I was not trained at AFLTS and did not have indoctrinated into me the requirement to use this phrase in my public discourse. 😉
I can guarantee that Pr. Haugen has had an influence on me in this way. But since he’s a member of my congregation, I’ll allow it. :o)
