Repentance and forgiveness.
One is forgiven by faith in Christ and his promise. But Repentance still seem to be necessary; as is to say, one will suffer the consequences of their sins but by the act of Repentance one is choosing their consequences rather then sin choosing it for them.
Could Repentance also be the best way to understand good works. Since to repent is to say one already has faith but wants to right the wrong or Justly suffer the consequences?

I’m not sure I understand how repentance would be connected to good works in this way.
